Client Stories

“I am the caregiver and personal representative for three individuals in my family. I came to Maser, Amundson, Boggio and Hendricks ten years ago because I needed guidance, direction and a plan to make sure my loved ones are cared for, financially and medically. I simply don’t have enough words to describe how great it’s been to work with Randy Boggio. He’s helped our family with estate planning, trusts and elder care planning. What I appreciate most about working with Maser, Amundson, Boggio and Hendricks is how knowledgeable they are. They understand all the issues faced by the elderly, how benefits work, what resources and options are available to us, and how to navigate the complicated systems of Medicare, Medicaid and other benefits. They’re progressive and always remain on the leading edge of what’s coming next in terms of elder law. They attend educational seminars and are very informed across the board. Caring for vulnerable family members is a huge responsibility. Having someone knowledgeable, compassionate, calm – someone with a clear plan who can guide me through the various issues that arise – has been incredibly helpful. I feel strengthened, supported and reassured. A big ‘thank you’ to all the folks at Maser, Amundson, Boggio and Hendricks for their professionalism, expertise and caring. You’re the best!”

“As the personal representative for my deceased grandmother’s estate, I had hired an estate planning attorney to help guide me through the process. Unfortunately, my attorney quit without warning and I found myself without legal representation. Anxious and under tremendous stress, I reached out to Maser, Amundson, Boggio and Hendricks based on a referral from someone I trust. I found Peter Hendricks to be very knowledgeable and a consummate professional. I truly wish I had the good fortune to find him at the outset of the handling of this estate matter. I learned a lot from the experience of handling my grandmother’s estate and was confident we would win. However, I was nervous on the day of the final hearing, probably the culmination of all I had been through and hopeful it would all be good news at the end of the day. Peter set me at ease by meeting with me prior to entering the courtroom and walking me through what to expect. He also acknowledged how hard this has been for me and that really meant more to me than I have words for. It brought me a sense of comfort that one person could see that I really worked for this outcome. This was a messy, complicated, unpleasant case and Peter brought us to the final hearing and helped us win. I am ever grateful and will never forget the fine assistance I received from Maser, Amundson, Boggio and Hendricks, and especially from Peter.”

“About six years ago, my husband and I had to put his mother in memory care in a nursing home due to dementia. It was a hard time since we had no access to her bank accounts to pay for the home nor did we have a legal right. I originally contacted a relative who was an attorney- hoping that he could direct us to an elderly care attorney to help us. He directed us to a website. I then checked out several attorneys who insisted that my mother-in law had to go to court with us. In her defiant state of mind- it was impossible to get her there. I then asked the housing director at the nursing home and she referred me to Allison Frasier. What a relief! She said we didn’t have to bring her, that we would just need a review of her condition and the court would be OK. For the last six years, I have worked with Allison and the staff who were very knowledgeable and good to work with. They guided me and my husband through everything from the initial proceedings to becoming guardians and conservators, to selling her home and every year’s reporting to the court until the final court hearing after her death. We have always felt confident with Allison.”
