Parkinson Association of Minnesota

It is estimated that one and a half million people in this country have Parkinson disease. Approximately 25,000 of those individuals live in Minnesota. Parkinson disease is a debilitating neurological disorder, which can literally make people prisoners in their own bodies. This disease affects not only Parkinson patients, but their entire family as well.

The Parkinson Association of Minnesota was established in 1995 to raise public awareness and understanding of Parkinson disease as well as to provide much needed services for patients and their families. In 2005, PAM established the Respite Care Grant Program to provide caregivers with much needed respite.

Maser & Amundson, P.A. supports the Parkinson Association of Minnesota (PAM) through active involvement with the annual Spring Membership Soiree and by initiating and co-sponsoring the annual Golf Tournament. Luther Amundson has served as chair of the Golf Tournament Committee since its inception.
