In mediation, a neutral third party helps facilitate communication between parties to help the parties reach an agreeable settlement.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Mediation is one classification under Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).  ADR is a process of trying to settle disputes before going to court. A “neutral” is an independent third party who is specially trained to help resolve the dispute. In arbitration, each party presents their case to a neutral party who then makes a decision. If the parties agree, arbitration allows the neutral third party to make a binding decision that is enforceable.

Randy Boggio and Luther Amundson are “qualified neutral” by the State of Minnesota to act as a mediators or arbitrators in probate and trust litigation, guardianship and conservatorship issues and Elder Law matters.
